This work is a gateway to an individual's need to discern their own sense of purpose and how they deal with their own existence. A freedom of will that does not guarantee a freedom of choice. Bound by our circumstances, this discrepancy causes angst in our journey to navigate ‘life’. Where the simplest solution is to give in and accept our absurd ‘fate’ and to live in dread rather than to question it.
This cyclical process of dread acts as a fuel for our existence as we hold onto it dearly. However, our constant need to search for purpose only causes us more dread. It's a wound of a guilty conscience.
