The sound of their fluttering feathers spoke to me as a defiance to human society as they soared through the city. I was intrigued by the resilience of a pigeon living in a city where it was never accepted and was treated like a pest. The sense of relatability and familiarity that I saw within the simple animals made me feel like I was trapped in a concrete jungle. I was envious of their ability to soar high in the clouds.
